I have a new question. I have made the fermented 508 . When I went to check on it it had some mold growing on the top of the fermentation batch. Is this ok or should I make another batch?
I am trying to understand the planting indications as far as flower, root leaf and fruit. If I want to transplant a flowering plant do I do that on a flower day or should it be done on a root day as I would want to encourage the root growth of the plant . I am talking about larger flowering plants in my garden that I may be dividing or just moving to a new spot, not seedlings .
If you are working with flowers, then potting on, transplanting, should be done on a flower day; however, sometimes we can’t do the work on a flower day. If you end up transplanting on a root day, the forces of the plant will be more focused on roots, which isnt a bad thing, but the most beneficial day to transplant a flower is on a flower day.
Yay! This makes my heart sing with happiness! Im still learning, too so feel free to reach out with questions or curiosities. We can learn together. xo

Hi Carol,
I’ll ask Stewart about this…but if its looking moldy I dont think that is good…it should look more like bog and smell deep and earthy….
In my opinion, if you’re worried, add it to your compost pile and try again with the fermentation.
