The Animal and The Biodynamic Preparations
The Biodynamic Federation in collaboration with the Section for Agriculture would like to invite you to the second Colloquium on Biodynamic Preparations of this year. The date of the colloquium has been updated and it will now be held on 12 September at 2 pm CEST (9 am Brasil), on the topic “The Animal and The Biodynamic Preparations”.
The main aim of the second colloquium will be to learn about the role of the Animal in the Biodynamic Preparations. Experienced Preparation-makers Angela Hoffman, from Sekem, Egypt, and Stewart Lundy from the Josephine Porter Institute, USA will share their experiences working with the preparations in different contexts.
In her presentation “Cows Greening the Desert”, Angela will explore the importance of the animal in biodynamics and on the effects of the biodynamic preparations.
In his presentation “Making Better Biodynamic Preparations for More Sustainable Farms” Stewart will explore among other topics, including the regenerative power of the biodynamic preparations in our changing global climate, the empowering quality of using fresh medicinal herbs and the importance of the quality of animal organs and sheath components.
During the colloquium there will be time to meet and exchange with other Biodynamic Practitioners from across the world.
Please share this invitation with anyone you think may be interested in the topic. The session will be held in English, with simultaneous translation into Spanish. With the help of local organizations, simultaneous translation into other languages can also be organized.
